This union produced seven children: Edna Earl Scott, Doris Laurene Scott, Katherine Faye Scott, Beatrice Jean Scott,
Bettie Ruth Scott, William Travis Scott and Franklin D. Scott. Gertrude was born in Coryell County, Texas on March 25,
1914. She died at the age of 69 on February 17, 1984.
Both Elbert and Gertrude are buried in White Point Cemetary, Comanche, TX.
