| Laura and Doss Kirksey |
Laura Dee Scott and Dossie Kirksey (Doss) were united in marriage
on Jan. 30, 1937 in Comanche County, Texas. They had no natural children of their own. However, they were very
close with all of their nieces and nephews in the area, and later in life with their great-nieces and nephews.
Laura died at the age of 68 on October 29, 1977. Doss was born on
January 13, 1911 in Brown County, TX. He died at the age of 85 on June 2, 1996. Both are buried in Jenkins Springs
Cemetery, Brown County, Texas.
