Newton Olliff Mary "Newtie" Scott was born on Dec. 18, 1916 in Comanche County, TX. She passed away on Oct. 14,
2002 in Stephenville, TX at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 26 days.
Newtie Scott married Spencer Marvin Eudy (5/1/1913-8/24/1964) in Walters, Oklahoma on Nov. 6, 1935. This union
produced three children: Spencer Marvin, Jr. (S.M.); Alice Treyon; and Judy LaTrelle.
Newtie received her LVN Nursing Degree from Nursing School in Wichita Falls and worked as a Surgical Nurse in Brownwood,
TX for 30 years and as an Oncology Nurse in San Antonio, TX for another 5 years. She was also a House Mother at South
Texas Baptist Children's Hospital in Goliad, TX for 8 years.
Newtie was laid to rest next to her husband in White Point Cemetery in Comanche, Comanche County, TX, on Oct. 16, 2002.
Services were held at First Baptist Church, Dublin, TX, with the following reverends officiating: son-in-law Charles,
and grandson-in-law Lendel and Dean Bradley.
