Ruby or Memaw to some, married Dale Michael Roberts(09/28/1923-11-09-1944) on July 31, 1943. Dale soon lost his
life two years later in World War II before they had any children. Ruby remarried to Lloyd Reed Guthrie and had two
children:
Carolyn Ruth Guthrie
Paula Gay Guthrie
After they divorced in 1950 she remarried one last time to Marvin Roy Shirley(07/13/1919-12/22/1999). Both Ruby &
Marvin are buried at Ash Creek Babtist Cemetery in Azle, Texas.
