Emmitt married Katherine Louise Glasgow(02/06/1927-07/21/1996) on November 4, 1943. Togther they had two children:
Donna Louise Scott
Danny Ray Scott (08/27/1948-01/07/1969)
In 1951 the two divorced and Emmitt married Shirley Jean Messick. Together the two had one child
John Vernon Scott
In 1953 the two divorced and Emitt remarried Katherine Louise Glasgow on May 22, 1954.
The two are now buried at Pendergrass Cemetery in Sidney, Commanche County, Texas along with Danny Ray.
