Tommy Brannen (son-in-law of Elbert) worked for the same phone company in Fort Worth as Danny Ray, when Danny Ray was
drafted into the military. When Danny Ray was killed in action the article shown below was printed in a phone company
employee publication. Tommy cut out the article and saved it over the years. Bettie contributed this so it could
