This photo was taken of Ruby Woods Scott (middle, wife of J. Newt Scott) and her two sisters,
Bessie (left, 6/29/1876 - 5/22/1952) and Birdie (right, 9/20/1880 - 12/21/1952). I believe the photo was taken in front
at the "Old Woods Place", home of John Alexander & Olliff Elizabeth Melton Woods. The year the photo was taken was
not marked on the back of the photo..

Several people have identified this location as the Bryson ranch. Jack (son of Elbert) says he remembers the house
when he and his older 3 brothers lived with J. Newt & Ruby for a while. He remembers having ice cream socials on
the front porch. He also said he has a faint memory of Uncle Doss hanging him from his overalls from a limb on the oak
tree.
