Steve - (Brown/BW/Debbie's husband) - is still undergoing treatment for his cancer, but is doing well. 

 

Diane - (Elbert/JD/Terry's Wife) - has been undergoing treatments for cancer. 

 

Marie - (Elbert/Jean) - recently spent 16 days in the hospital receiving IV antibiotic therapy for an acute cellulitis infection.  She was having breathing issues when she entered the hospital and a battery of tests was run on her heart.  They determined while she was there that she does not have diabetes, any heart blockages, any heart or lung blood clots or high blood pressure.  Hopefully the infection is totally gone and she will not have to be hospitalized for this in the future.

 

David - (Elbert/Jean) has been recently diagnosed with diabetes.  He is learning to get this under control.  His muscular disease is also flaring up on him lately.

 

 

Steve - (Brown/BW/Debbie's Husband) - has been diagnosed with stage four Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma & is currently under chemo every three weeks.

 

Edna - (Elbert) - is having surgery to remove a spot on her leg that keeps getting infected.  Apparently they are going to have to remove some deep tissue, so she will require some plastic surgery on her leg afterwards.

 

Diane - (Elbert/JD/Terry's wife) - is currently undergoing chemo treatments.

 

Cayden Russ Gallop - (son of a friend of Marie (Elbert/Jean) - was born @ 31 weeks gestation, weighing in a 1 pound 5.9 ounces and 12.5" long.  He is having several health issues and the family requests all the prayers we can send in his name.  **Update:  Cayden has improved greatly and was able to go home on May 4, 2009.  While he still has lots of health issues to deal with, his parents are happy to finally have him home.

 

 

Tyson - (Elbert/JD/Aleece) - was involved in a rollover vehicle accident on July 16, 2008.  He has some severe injuries, but is out of the hospital and back home.  He is undergoing lots of physical therapy.  If you would like to email Tyson or send him a card, get in touch with me and I will send you his information.

 

Mary Jo - (Elbert/JD) - tore the ligaments in the top of her foot and had to have them reattached during an out patient surgery in early July.  She is healing well and out of her walking cast.

 

Frank - (Elbert) - was doing some work in the greenhouse and slipped and fell.  He broke his left arm & was in a cast at reunion. 

 

Carolyn - (Delbert/Ruby) - has been having problems with severe allergies.  She has recently gone through testing to try to find out what is causing her distress.  Please keep her in your prayers that they find the cause soon so she can get some relief.

 

Judy - (Newtie) - has been having some health problems.  Please keep her in your prayers.

 

Marie - (Elbert/Jean) - has been experiencing reoccuring cellulitis infections in her legs.  This makes getting around challenging.  The good news is, I haven't had one in a few months and my legs are looking normal again!  Hopefully I am past whatever was causing the problem.

 

David - (Elbert/Jean) retired from the USAF in May 2008.  His exit physical revealed he was diabetic.  He has had to learn to modify his diet, etc.  Please keep him in your prayers that his health continues to improve.

 

Jean - (Elbert) - has been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat and high blood pressure.  She has more recently been diagnosed with bone spurs in her hip and knee.  The spurs are very painful and make getting around difficult.  She is on medication for the heart & blood pressure issues.  Please keep her in your prayers.

 

Edna - (Elbert) - is currently in a long term nursing facility awaiting a knee replacement.  In early July 2008 she was found to have a very bad bacterial infection in her knee.  They had to totally remove the replacement and put her on strong antibiotics.  When the infection is totally gone, she will go back into the hospital and have the knee replacement put back in.  From there she will have to go into a rehab facility for several weeks.  Her family is hoping to have her back home by the first of October.  Please keep Edna and family in your prayers.  If you would like to send her a card, email the website and I will send you her address.

 

Kendra - (Elbert/Edna/Steve/Randy's wife) - had gall bladder surgery during July 2008.

 

Desiree - (Elbert/Doris/Romayne) - recently had knee surgery (Summer 2008).

 

Romayne - (Elbert/Doris) - fell off of the porch of her house at the end of 2007.  She injured her shoulder and is going through rehab to regain the use of her arm.
