Fannie Elizabeth Scott (8/1885-3/1980) was the daughter of Ruby Lillian Woods &
J. Newt Scott. I.W. "Sam" Melton was the cousin of Ruby Lillian Woods Scott.
Fannie & Sam were married on February 22, 1903 in Brown County, TX. They had four children together,
Era, Hilda, Sam, and a 4th child who I have no name for, but was called "Baby Sister."
Sam was a locomotive engineer.

Pint Eull (pronounced Pent), (1889-1931) was the brother of Ruby Lillian Woods
Scott. He married Ruth Beard, and to them two boys were born, Charles and
Aubrey. Ruth died sometimes before 1922. In
1922 Pint married a widow-Minnie Collins. She
had two children: Alma Ruth and Burl Collins. Later
Burl changed his name to Tracey Collins. Pint
and Minnie had one daughter, Laverne. Pint was working as a control man at the time of his death. He was shot and killed by his brother-in-law, Minnie's sisters husband. There was never any reason established, except perhaps temporary insanity.

Earnest Hickey (1875-unk), was the son of Betty Scott (1856-1933) and John
Hickey (1851-1923). Mary Serena "Rena" Scott (1878-1972) was the daughter of Mary
Catherine Jeffery (1843-1922) and James Allen "Jim" Scott (1841-1926). Jim Scott
and Betty Scott Hickey were siblings. Earnest and Rena were first
cousins, and were married. They had two daughters, True (1898-????) and Mary Bess.
True later married a man by the last name of Hoover, and Mary Bess never
married. Earnest was a locomotive engineer.

Walter is the son of Luther Clinton Woods (1885-1970) and Elma Ramo.
Luther and Elma had six children, two girls and four boys: Don Cleone,
Doris, Paul, Leonard and Walter. Luther and Elma separated later on in their
married life. Elma Rambo was a half sister to Lizzie Davis Scott, who had married
David Melton Scott, brother of J. Newt Scott. Luther was the brother
of Ruby Lillian Woods Scott.

David Melton Scott (3/1866-1/1930) married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Davis. David
was the County Clerk of Brown County. Together they had five children, of which three reached adulthood. These
three were: Mable, Cecil, and Pearl. Their other two children possibly
died as infants: Harold and Howard. Mable married Albert
Hixs, and Pearl married Brooks Dozier.

William Isaac "Willie" Woods (1878-1945) was the second husband of Mattie Wyatt Scott
(Mattie was married to Ely Washington Scott, who was killed in Indian Territory, and the brother of J.
Newt Scott), and the step father to Jesse Bryan Scott. When Mattie died in
1904 or 1905, Willie remarried Ora Sparks Daniels, and together they had two children:
J.A. (intials only) and Alma Lois. Willie committed suicide in 1945.
After his death, his widow, Ora married his younger brother, Grover Spurger Woods.
