Deb, (Elbert/Jean/David's Wife), has recently passed her realtor test in Arizona. She is now working
as a realtor. Here's hoping she has much success!
Kristin, (Elbert/Jean/David & Deb's daughter) had her first slumber party for her 8th birthday back
in October. It was a halloween costume slumber party. They had 6 little girls there total. Here's hoping
there house is back to normal!
Bettie Ruth (Elbert) has recently returned from a three week vacation to Europe, with stays in London
and other places. We're looking forward to seeing all the photos she took. If she emails them to me, I'll post
them here for all to see!
Harvey & Jean (Elbert) are in Tucson staying with their granddaughter Kristin (daughter
of David & Deb) while Deb has surgery. They stopped in Brownwood overnight for
a visit with JD & Mary Jo, Frank & Shirley and the rest of the gang on the way out.
If their plans work out, they intend to do the same on the way back home.
October 22, 2003, Edna, Jean, and Bettie all arrived home from their trip from Reno
to Boston. They came home with many pictures and lots of funny stories. Faye had them all keep
journals daily about the happenings of the day. I have really enjoyed reading mom's (Jean's) journal.
I will have to get them to send me some photos of the trip so we can all see them.
The Sisters Cross Country Road Trip - Photos
Sept. 14, 2003, Edna, Jean and Bettie flew out to spend a few days with older brother
Jack (aka Charlie) on the West coast. After spending a few days with them, Jack drove
them to Faye's house where they have all departed on a road trip taking them from Nevada to Boston, MA in
Faye and Bill's motor home. Faye's husband has been appointed the designated driver
on this 6 week road trip. Several day trips are planned to see various sights along the way. We hope they all
have a wonderful time!!!! (Edna, Faye, Jean, Bettie & Jack are all children of Elbert.)
Saturday, August 2, 2003 was 35 years since Elbert passed away.......
Elbert's grandson, Steve (son of Edna) was married in August to his fiance, Laura. Laura
is the mom of an 8 year old daughter. We wish them all the best of luck........
Jean & Harvey (Elbert's daughter) are visiting their son David and family.... David has
been in the US Air Force for 15 years and has served in both Desert Storm and spent 3 months in Masirah Island, Oman before
the Operation Iraqi Freedom started. He has the rank of Tech Sergeant.........
Bruce & Tiffany (Grandson of Brown, son of BW) have left their native Oklahoma and are now
living in Texas. Good luck to them both........
